This is my 6th week of this project and week 9 of the whole genius hour project. I had a very bad week last week with my project. This week started off better then last week. I wasn't able to play any on Monday, but I wasn't very mad about that. I got to play a few hours on Tuesday and Wednesday. The more and more that I play the game, I learn more and more on how to properly play the game and how to play in different ways. I learn more and more every game how to set up different sites, attack different sites on different maps. It will take me a lot more time and dedication during and after the Genius Hour project to know everything about how this game works, but since the beginning, I've been getting so much better at playing the game and my strategies when I play it.
A thing that I've definitely seen improvement on while playing these few weeks is my aim. I have played around with my sensitivity and how fast the cross hair moves around, and I've found a sensitivity that I like and I do good on, and it really improved my game. Before playing a ranked game that day, I always go into the shooting range and work on my aim for at least 10 minutes, working on my aim and getting better. Doing this helps my game and makes it easier to win games. Every night, before I go to bed, I watch professional players, studying how they play and ways they play, and I learn so much from them. A main person that I've learned from was Jynxzi. He plays on controller like me, and he plays in a way that I learned a lot from. The way that he helps his team and can learn how someone plays after maybe one or two rounds with playing with or against them. He is also very funny and entertains me while playing good on siege. He doesn't do good all the time, but that's normal when you're playing with the best in the world in a tournament for thousands of dollars. On Friday, I played a few games with the spare time that I had, but I was very unfortunate to not be able to rank up. Me and my teammates are always going against what feels like a pro team. I win a few games, and the game that I need to win to rank up, I lose. So I have to win two in a row again, and it never happens. It really upsets me that my teammates really suck and the other team always ends up winning the game. I feel like if I had a team of people to play with and communicate with, it would be a lot easier to get through the ranks then solo-queuing and not being able to communicate with my teammates. I didn't have any free time to play Saturday and Sunday, so hopefully this coming up week will be better for my project.
